I can’t deny it, I’ve really taken a shine to metallic hues lately. I was fortunate enough to be gifted such beautiful pieces by Lane Bryant, so there was no reason for me to feel gilt-y.  Alright, alright, too many puns… I’ll stop now. I know that silence is golden.

This outfit made me feel very “Ladies Who Lunch…With Danger!” The shimmery gold sweater and the elegantly embellished skirt have a classical feel to them (albeit an updated classic), and the crocodile-embossed leather satchel reminds me of a vintage bag I would stumble across in my Grandmother’s closet. It begs to be passed down to future generations, and if I ever do have a daughter I can assure you it would eventually be in her possession. The bit of edge comes into play with the spiked rose gold collar necklace and the rose gold tipped pointy-toe heels. While the soft tone of the metal might disarm you, the sharp points will keep you on edge.
