If I were wearing a bodycon skirt (something that is tight & form-fitting) I would start with the right shapewear. We can celebrate our curves, size, shape, all we want, but shapewear helps create a sexy, streamlined silhouette. I really like my high-waist Wacoal iPant that I got from Bare Plus. Not only is it suppose to help with cellulite (it has some sort of anti-cellulite ingredients in the fibers), the top of it goes all the way underneath my bra so there’s no back bulge.

Right now crop tops are in, but I know some women are sensitive about showing their stomachs. One of the ways to utilize the trend would be to layer a tight tank top (I would choose black) as a base top layer. I would tuck it into the bodycon skirt, thereby making a nice, streamlined, uniform outfit.

I’d then top off the tight tank top with a looser, blouse-y, cropped top. Pair with this season’s trendiest shoe, the hidden wedge sneaker, a fun bag & some metallic accessories, you have a complete outfit!
